A Few Videos

Summer Fun, Birthday Parties, Camping and Cousin Love

We have had a great summer.  The big event being Lauren and Nicholas turning one in July.  I can't believe that we have one year olds.  Even harder to believe that the little redhead in Cotati is now FOUR!

We had so much fun with all the friends and family that helped us celebrate their birthday.  It was quite an event and we are so thankful to those of you that came from both near and far.

We also took a couple of camping trips this summer, not as many as we'd hoped to but we did have fun. A big thanks to Grandma Judy and Grandpa Dennis for meeting us in Bend and spending a wonderful week with us.  You guys were probably exhausted after all the time Lauren and Nicholas spent dragging you around.  They sure love you guys.

The kids and I also got to spend two weeks in California with family and friends.  We spent some time in Los Banos with Grammie and Grandpa Coy, Solvang with Aunt Rikka and Uncle Patrick, Mio and the Aunties.  Then we headed back to Sonoma County with a short detour to LB as the ride was getting a little long, to play more with Auntie, Cursey and Uncle Andy and the Vissman clan.

So, as you can see our summer has been pretty eventful.  Lauren and Nicholas have been walking since before their first birthday and now are practically running.  They love climbing on everything and yesterday I saw Nicholas think about jumping off the couch.  Thankfully he stopped, but it won't be long.  Every day Dave and I say something to the effect of "remember when they were little enough to let them both sleep in the chair without having to watch them" or "can you believe we have TWO babies"?  But, mainly we just say that we are so blessed to have them and so grateful to the angels that gave them to us.

Wow, Time Flies When You Have Two Ones!

Hi Everyone!  We have missed you!  Have you missed us?  Boy, it's been a while since I have updated this blog so today that is my goal during nap time... so let's get started!
